A Custom Portal Integrated With ERP
Sembit built a new version of a manufacturer's portal which integrated in real time with their BPCS ERP, giving customers a single place to order parts, manage RMAs, and generate pro-forma invoices. The platform handles tens of millions of dollars in orders each year. Sembit later integrated another product line, connected the platform to a new Oracle ERP, and added a structured digital returns module.
Sembit created an updated custom e-commerce and self-service portal that lets dealers and customers order parts, pay invoices, and generate pro-forma invoices, all integrated in real time with their ERP.
Sembit built a dedicated RMA/RGA return module, replacing a manual process with a structured digital workflow that has stayed in active use since 2017.
Warranty Registration and Service
Sembit created an internal web application for an adjustable bed manufacturer for managing their warranty claims. It includes a warranty intake form they host on their public web site, secure storage of uploaded photos, integration with service dispatch companies, and placing orders directly with their backend SAP system.
Reseller Portal
Sembit created a reseller portal for affiliates of a glove manufacturer. This included a tool for creating realistic stock arrangements for sale as the resellers worked with various retail customers directly.
B2B Physician Portal
Sembit created a B2B portal for a Fortune 50 medical device manufacturer. It began as a custom eStore and grew to encompass all touchpoints with the physicians who purchased their devices. It covered ordering of marketing materials, scheduling factory tours, pursuing professional development, taking FDA-mandated training courses, purchasing products (both normal orders and consignment), registering and updating profiles on physician-finder marketing web sites, even incentive discount programs. The system included more than 20 system integrations and more than 500 web pages, providing accurate information and a single fluid experience for their customers.
Sembit also optimized those marketing web sites, created admin tools for managing them, supported localization of the sites into multiple languages, and even recreated a client-side tool when a previous vendor lost the source code for it.
